63 acres and a cabin all to yourself ten minutes from Flathead Lake. Welcome to Mount Forge, Montana. Come relax and enjoy this farm-turned-vacation-home in Polson. Nestled in the stunning landscape of Polson, Montana, Mount Forge is a sprawling 63-acre property that offers the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The brand new, 1,200 square foot cabin is a true gem, featuring breathtaking pine walls and vaulted ceilings that exude an air of elegance and refinement. Montana was listed as one of Lonely Planet’s best regions to travel to in 2024. The only region to make the list within the United States. Let Mount Forge be your gateway to the region! Inside our home you'll find a master bedroom on the first floor, complete with a comfortable queen bed and a remote workspace for your convenience. A second bedroom, also with a queen bed, ensures ample sleeping space for your group. Meanwhile, the large loft area above boasts four twin beds that can be seamlessly joined together to create two additional queen beds, making it easy to accommodate up to eight guests in total. The fully equipped kitchen comes complete with a range oven, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker, while the full bathroom features a shower and tub and a handy washer/dryer unit. Included is a second half-bathroom to accomodate larger groups. Outside, you can enjoy grilling up a storm on the 5-burner Char-Broil Grill, or simply unwind in the comfortable Adirondack chairs or at one of the picnic tables. The living room is the perfect space to relax and unwind, with a plush couch, two chairs, and a 50-inch TV offering the ideal spot to take in the spectacular sunset views from the front window. The dining table with eight seats allows for intimate family meals and cherished moments spent together. Personalized decorations collected by the owners over the last five years of their frequent trips to Montana add a unique touch to the space, ensuring that every aspect of your stay is truly one-of-a-kind. From the outdoor area, soak in the breathtaking sunset views across the valley or take a walk up the hill for a stunning vista of the Mission Mountains. Observe horses running during the day, and listen to the haunting calls of coyotes under the starry night sky - with a little luck, you may even catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights! In the summer hit the lake for a boat rental and some fun in the water. Come winter, hit the slopes at nearby Whitefish. Immerse yourself in the expansive and breathtaking Montana countryside as you enjoy full access to the sprawling 63-acre property. Previously used as a cattle ranch for 15 years, the area has been transformed into a stunning vacation home. Explore the premises and discover an old stable situated behind the cabin, as well as fencing that previously housed horses, goats, and other livestock. Take a leisurely stroll along the fence line or ascend to the hilltop for a mesmerizing panoramic view of the entire Mission Valley, where the sunsets are truly unforgettable. As darkness descends and the night sky comes alive, witness the Milky Way dancing across the stars, an awe-inspiring spectacle. We take pride in clearly marking the property with no trespassing signs, fencing, and providing a map inside the house. As our esteemed guests, we request you to respect the privacy of our neighbors and never interfere with any wildlife, whether domesticated or not. The owner lives out of town but will be available via text or call at any time. Additionally there will be local support for any maintenance issues that may arise during your stay. Nestled in the largest remaining lot in the Hebron Subdivision of the picturesque Valley View region lies Mount Forge, offering a unique blend of urban amenities and rustic charm. While the bustling residential area has witnessed a minor surge of development in recent times, it retains its idyllic countryside allure, beckoning you to soak in the tranquility of the surrounding farmlands, the marvels of wildlife, and the breathtaking vistas that stretch for hundreds of miles. A mere ten-minute drive from the town of Polson, Mount Forge ensures that you are always within reach of a wide range of amenities, restaurants, and other conveniences that cater to your every need. With the perfect balance of modern amenities and unspoiled nature, Mount Forge is a true gem. Located 10 minutes away on the shores of Flathead Lake, Polson, Montana is a charming small town with plenty of dining options, including the Perfect Shot Tavern, Betty's Diner, and Blodgett's, as well as delicious coffee at the Good Coffee Roasting Company. Visitors can also enjoy local racing at the Mission Valley Super Oval or explore the Seli’š Ksanka Qlispe’ Dam and the Miracle of America Museum. Within a ten minute drive, several marinas offer boat rentals and fishing gear for those wanting to get out on the lake. For a nature excursion, the National Bison Range is only a short distance away.
