Battered Buoy has had many updates and renovations from new walls to refinished floors, electrical to plumbing, and fresh paint on every surface. Bringing life back to Battered Buoy was a labor of love and it shows. The condo has 2 bedrooms and sleeps 4 people. Fresh, clean bedding and plenty of pillows will entice you for an afternoon nap! Battered Buoy features an entryway right off the living room, from there a hallway that leads to a small bedroom on the right with 2 twin beds, one of which we call the cubby hole or the posh pad, depends on which child I am talking to. The bathroom is the next door down on the right, it has a quirky 1900’s converted house charm. The Master bedroom is just down the hall on the left, it features a KING bed, with a walk in closet as well as a dresser. At the end of the hall is the kitchen, which is fully equipped, and has a small convertible dinning table that can seat 4 comfortably or collapsed and pushed out of the way. Enjoy rainy days and downtime while playing board games, putting together puzzles or gathering around the TV for the big game. Fast Wi-Fi will meet all of your entertainment or work from home needs. Comfortable seating with a large L sectional will make relaxing to watch a movie or game time room for all. The condo is located just off Townsend Avenue - A one minute drive to the grocery (Hannaford‘s), walking distance to town Center (which means no paying for parking), a 7 minute drive to the beautiful Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, and an 8 minute drive to the Maine State Aquarium. Other attractions within 10 minutes of the condo include Ocean Point, the Boothbay Railway Village, the Boothbay Country Club, the Boothbay Farmers Market, many beautiful beaches fantastic shopping and amazing restaurants. The front porch and all of the first floor is available for guests, there is a small deck off the kitchen, but not meant for sitting, as all condo owners have access to this space. Battered Buoy condo is a first floor unit that is 1 of 4 condos, with 2nd and 3rd floor condos all being owner vacation only homes, the only year round condo is located to the rear of the building.
