You are a few steps away from Camano State Park and the beach. Camano Island is only 60 miles north of Seattle and no ferry is needed. It's 'The shortest distance to far away!' This home is nestled mid-island facing southwest, between Cama Beach State Park and Camano Island State Park, and is a beach lovers paradise. Bring binoculars and cameras to enjoy a variety of wildlife, including bald eagles and Orca whales. Camano Island is a birdwatchers paradise with 25+ varieties spotted! The beach is ideally suited for walking, swimming, fishing, crabbing, and launching kayaks or canoes. There is a public boat launch near by at the Camano Island State Park. We have Starlink WiFi for use during your stay. We also have DISH TV, a DVD player, movies & popcorn. If you want to rent something newer, there's a Redbox kiosk a few minutes away. The game room is equipped with a Pool Table, dart board, and board games. Who needs screen time, when you can watch both the sunrise and the sunset from your waterfront windows, patio, large deck and brand new HOT TUB, or take a long walk on the beach. Our motto here is "Get Unplugged and Seas the Day"! The kitchenette offers a toaster oven, Foreman grill, microwave, toaster, mini crockpot, drip coffee maker, Keurig, and medium-sized refrigerator and freezer. The kitchen is fully stocked with plates, bowls, cups, mugs, and silverware. There's a small dining table for 4, a coffee table, sofa and chairs. The guest suite also features a large ocean-view deck with bench seating and and outdoor dining table. We provide a gas barbecue (with a side cook-top burner) and plenty of comfortable outdoor seating on swivel and Adirondack chairs. It's the perfect place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee and an evening glass of wine while watching the sunrise or the sunset. Enjoy nature and get away from modern technology. When using the Hot Tub, we kindly request that you do NOT drink from open or glass containers. Also, please NO eating in the Hot Tub. We do have cups with lids if you'd like to have a beverage with you. The Guest Suite also has a full bathroom with bathtub and a shower. Toilet paper and towels are provided. Bedroom one has 2 queen beds. The 2nd bedroom has 2 full beds. The Seas the Day Guest Suite sleeps 6 total - due to the septic system. There is an extra charge of $25 (per guest/per night) for more than 4 guests. We have a wonderful game room pool table, dart board, books, and board games - perfect for adults, kids, and teenagers. We do accept pets, up to 2 dogs for a $50 fee, but please notify us when you make your reservation that you want to bring pets. BEACH ACCESS: We access the beach through the property adjacent to ours. Camano Island State Park, which is adjacent to our property. The stairs to the beach are a 4 minute walk from our front door. The beach is perfect for lounging, relaxing, walking, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, crabbing, and beachcombing. Just bring your clothes, toiletries, groceries and have the relaxing experience of a lifetime. We are pet-friendly, so let us know ahead of time if you're bringing pets. Please note that the owners do have a dog, but he's paralyzed and not always on the property. They occupy the upper level of the house. The Guest Suite apartment is on the bottom floor with it's own private entrance. It's a perfect getaway for a girls' weekend, 2-3 couples, or families with teens. Not suitable for young children, and no extra guests, parties, or events are allowed. PARKING is LIMITED to 1-2 CARS ONLY. Book today and "Seas the Day"! Guests have access to the lower level of the house. There's a small staircase on the left side of the house that leads to the Guest Suite sliding glass door entrance. Guests must be able to walk and climb a few steps. The apartment includes 2 bedrooms, 1 full bathroom, a family room area, game room, and ocean view patio with an outdoor grill and brand new hot tub. Beach access is on the adjacent Airstream property next door or a couple of minutes away at Camano Island State Park. You can walk through the trail adjacent to our neighbor's property or drive there. If you drive, make sure you have a Discovery Pass for your vehicle. Decide to go whichever way, but get to the beach and "Seas the Day". We are always available by cell phone, text, or email. Often we will be on site in the upstairs apartment. Being walking distance from 2 state parks is a huge perk to the location of this home. Facing southwest allows you the enjoyment of watching the sunrise over the Cascade Mountains, as you also get a view of Mt. Rainer. In the evenings the sky lights up with the sun setting over the Olympics. It's the perfect beach day. If you're lucky, you can see Orca or Gray whales come right by our property. There is also a bald eagle (his name is Spike) that loves to perch just a few feet away from us and devour his salmon. If you love fishing, you can catch Salmon and Dungeness Crab on your very own beach. (Please get a license first & fish your worries away). The water sparkles, the sun sets, and time flies. Life is short, so spend as much time on the beach as you can & always SEAS THE DAY! Elger Bay Grocery and Journey's End Cafe (formerly Kara's Kitchen) are a few minutes away and have a diner, deli and gift shop with FREE WiFi. Enjoy outdoor or indoor seating, pizza, hot dogs, ice cream, and other snacks. There's even a gas station and drive through coffee station for your convenience. Please NO open containers, glass or food in the hot tub. We provide cups with lids. Also, storage closet and laundry room are locked. Laundry room is available for long-term guests only.
