Enjoy the natural beauty surrounding this historic getaway. Shipwreck Cove is a small, quaint "efficiency" cottage in the quiet sleepy crabbing town of Bowers Beach, Delaware. The living space includes a full-size pull-out sofa bed, a small but working kitchen, and 1 bathroom with a tiled walk-in shower. You can enter the cottage through the front entrance or the side entrance. Have coffee on the back deck while enjoying the bird sanctuary and the natural habitat. Take a 2-minute walk to see the beach and views of the bay or a 20-second car ride with free ample parking. There is a seafood restaurant down the street and a tavern for less formal dining or for a summer cocktail. Bed linens, comforters, and towels will be provided. You may want to bring your pillows for your comfort. A washer and dryer is being installed in the next few weeks. Washing detergent will be provided. Want to know our town's history don't forget to visit our museum down the road. Less than two miles away, is the sports complex which hosts many field hockey, Lacrosse, and soccer events. The Dover Mall, Bally's Casino, and the historic City of Dover are just twenty minutes North. The beach is within walking distance where you can enjoy fishing crabbing, and exploring the beach.
