The lodge rests at the foothills of the Wind River Mountain Range, on the edge the Shoshone National Forest overlooking Warm Springs Canyon, the Absaroka Mountain Range, and the red banded cliffs skirting the Wind River Valley. Wildflowers bloom throughout the summer season, creating a beautiful backdrop for horseback riding, hiking, or fishing. In the deep of winter, guests can snowshoe, cross country ski, and snowmobile right out the back door. Only ten minutes from the town of Dubois! The Lodge is large enough for big groups with 3100 square feet living space and over 6000 square feet under roof with 2 stories of wrap around covered porches. This home has 12 French Doors with each bedroom having their own dedicated French Door to a covered porch with dedicated outdoor seating. The Shoshone National Forest is our backyard, you can mountain bike, hike, and fish right from the backdoor. We are located 10 minutes from Dubois Wyoming and near the south entrance of Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton Park. Arcady Ridge Ranch has partnered with Said Creek Outfitters to offer guests horseback riding, fishing, guided pack trips, and ATV/UTV rental options, as well as fall hunting packages. Spring and Fall Information: From October 1-May 15 we recommend a 4wd vehicle since there could be snow or ice. The Lodge at Arcady Ridge Ranch sits on 12 acres and borders the Shoshone National Forest and neighboring ranch lands. It has a remote feel, but is less than twenty minutes from town. Visitors need their own transportation. Fall through spring (Oct-May) guests should drive a 4 wheel drive vehicle with good tread, and be prepared for mud and/or snowy conditions. Hike, ski, snowshoe right out the back door. Pets Arcady Ridge Ranch is home to our family, as well as horses, sheep, chickens and wildlife. For this reason, visitors wishing to bring pets must receive pre approval. Owners are asked to keep pets on the lower level of the home and off the furniture. Pets must be on a leash and must not be permitted to chase wildlife or harass humans, passing equestrians, ranch livestock or neighboring livestock. There is an additional cleaning fee for those wishing to bring pets. Please review Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone's pet policies if you are considering visiting these places during your stay. Fire Restrictions Fire restrictions are in place. No open outdoor fires are allowed on the premises due to hot dry weather in the summer, and USFS recommendations. Covered propane grill is available for guest use. Smoking Smoking is NOT permitted on the property or inside the house. ATV USE ATV's can be rented from Said Creek Outfitters. Operators are asked stay on existing driveway and marked roadways to access the Shoshone National Forest and Continental Divide Trail system. Trash Removal Guests are asked to remove trash from premises upon departure and NOT place trash on porch because it may attract bears.
