Located in the quiet Park View neighborhood north of Eastern Mennonite University, this apartment is also just a few miles from JMU, a 15 minute drive to Bridgewater College, and a 30 minute drive to Shenandoah National Park. It features an open living/dining/kitchen (stocked with essentials), large bedroom , and full bath with washer and dryer. Guest use of the covered patio is encouraged. Guests will have access to the entire apartment with private driveway and entrance. The space includes an open living (with Roku TV) and dining room as well as a kitchen complete with essentials for basic cooking and full sized refrigerator, range, and dishwasher. One large bedroom with double wall closets, large dresser and queen bed boasts two large windows. A full bath features shower tub/combo, luxurious towels, large linen closet, and washer/dryer with necessary detergent and dryer sheets. Enjoy the outdoors on the covered patio. Our active family of 5 and adorable dog, Millie live in the main residence and play in the yard. You are likely to hear Millie briefly welcoming you, but she remains quiet indoors most of the day. Our main living space is above the apartment, so at times, you will hear us moving chairs to eat dinner, practicing piano, running up the stairs, etc. We do try to be especially quiet between 9pm & 7am. Groceries, restaurants, a credit union, and hills for exercising are all within walking distance of the apartment. Harrisonburg's vibrant downtown and the ever active JMU campus are just minutes away. The apartment has its own driveway which can accommodate two vehicles front to back. The neighborhood is heavily used for exercise by walkers, runners, and bicyclists. A Harrisonburg city bus stop is within walking distance. A Pack N' Play is available. There is no garbage disposal, but you are welcome to utilize our compost bin.
