A century old neighborhood, a 10-minute walk from a farmer's market. Washer & dryer. Each apartment has one parking space in the driveway to park overnight. This two bedroom flat is newly renovated with bamboo floors and two bathrooms: One has an old fashioned claw foot tub and a chandelier, which is excellent for soaking and unwinding. There is an office nook, a futon couch that converts the living room into a sleeping space and internet TV. The back deck, newly built, has a table and chairs for sitting out and enjoying a morning coffee or evening refreshment. The driveway is shared and during the winter months each apartmen5t has 1 parking space. We have lived in this apartment through the winter and live just minutes away on the other side of the park. We have loved living near the historic Pinewoods Park and across the street from the Lutheran church. The neighborhood is friendly and safe. The entire flat is yours to use. The house on Thompson Street is in a walk-able neighborhood. There is an active Lutheran church across the street and an old park at the corner intersection with tall shady trees, a Frisbee golf course and playground. A block or so in the other directions are the mansions built by the lumber barons, the police station and city hall, a farmers market and the Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum with a working carrousel built there, another small one for children and rides outside during warm weather. The place is set up with children and adults in mind. It is the only museum of its kind inside the original factory. It is a terrific stop for all ages. There is a lot to walk to. North Tonawanda is a small city in the suburban ring around Buffalo. There is no public transportation here, given the small size. The best way to the Falls is by car. The area is also served by Uber! After November 15th in North tonawanda there is an overnight parking ban from 2am until 6am. This is to make it easier for the city plows to operate. As a result we only have parking for 1 vehicle in the driveway. Please pull your vehicle all the way forward. If you have a very large truck or have any additional questions please do not hesitate to ask. From November 15th to the beginning of April there is no parking on North Tonawanda streets between 2am and 6am. The parking ban is so that the city can plow both sides of the street if it’s snowy. Because you will not be able to park on the street overnight without getting a ticket you will have to park in the driveway. The driveway is only big enough to park 3 vehicles. Each apartment has one parking place. The parking arrangement for each apartment is as follows; 364 Thompson upper will pull all the way forward and park on the left side, 364 Thompson lower will pull all the way forward and park next to the porch on the right side, 370 Thompson upper will pull in and then back up into the right front corner. Parking can be tight so it's important to make as much room as possible so that everyone can get in and out without difficulty. The basement in your building has a seperate outside entrance. This entrance is used by the cleaning staff occasionally during the afternoon to wash and dry sheets and store bedding and towels for the upstairs and downstairs apartments.
