The Coe Estate—built over 100 years ago by oil producer R.W. Coe—hosted some of the biggest parties and was home to some of the biggest names (golf legend, Charlie Coe). Boasting almost one acre of St Augustine grass and mature pecan trees in the historic SW, this one bedroom/one full bath guest house located behind the main home is equipped with a living room, dining room and kitchen, and still has the original hardwood floors and claw foot bathtub. A pool is available one block from the rental The guest house sits directly above the three car garage that lives directly behind the main house on the property. The space has the original hardwood floors and clawfoot bathtub. Bedroom: The bedroom has two large windows overlooking the property with available black-out shades for nighttime and features a queen-sized bed.The full bathroom is attached to the bedroom for convenience. Bathroom: The full bathroom is attached to the bedroom, yet has an additional door which guests can unlock for alternative access. The original clawfoot tub has been restored and updated to also act as a shower. A linen closet in the bathroom houses the necessary towels and other linens needed during a guest's stay, as well as extra toilet paper and a hairdryer welcomed for use by a guest. Living room: The large living room hold a flat-screen TV with a Roku, which guests can use to access Netflix, Hulu and more. There are two sitting chairs and a giant couch big enough for an adult to sleep on (and it is very comfortable!). Additional linens for the couch can be located in the closet found in the living room, as well as a blowup mattress should a guest need it. The three large windows in the living room all have black-out shades for nighttime privacy. Dining room: Off of the living room, guests will find the dining room, which has a large wooden dining room table with four dining chairs. The thermostat for the unit is located on the wall. Kitchen: Adorable kitchen with butcher block countertops, fridge, microwave and tabletop appliance capable of airfry, toasting and baking. Guests will have available one parking spot in the driveway in front of the guest house. Street parking available as well We are home and on the property most evenings after 5pm and throughout the weekends if guests need to contact us regarding a question or issue. Located in the historical Southwest neighborhood-- the safest in Ardmore-- guests receive the best of both worlds: a quiet neighborhood of tree covered streets and sidewalks perfect for a morning stroll, yet only a mile or two away from the restaurants, bars and shops of Downtown. Guests will have driveway parking available for one vehicle during their stay. The restaurants and shops of downtown are a little over a mile walk away. Ardmore has Uber and a taxi service.
