Welcome to the Homestead at Horns Acres. Take a step back in time and enjoy our secluded farmhouse. This heirloom home was built in 1926 by my Great Great Grandparents. The 4 bed/3 bath farmhouse offers spectacular views including wooded acres, rolling hay fields, and natural water front. Come and relax on the three season screened porch. Grill or smoke a meal while enjoying the views. Various Minnesota wildlife roam freely on the property. Property has sprawling yard for family entertainment. This home comes fully furnished which includes a full kitchen, dining room, living room, reading library room, two full bathrooms, four bedrooms and a three season screened porch. All linens are provided, along with basic necessities. Guests will have full access to the main level, upper level, three season porch, and large yard. Even though our homes location is very secluded, myself or a family member will be available at all times. I live only one mile down the road. Do not hesitate to ask questions or send texts. Our rental is located on our secluded family farm. Your closest neighbor is a cousin of mine that is a half mile away. Next closest is Grandpa (.75 miles), then myself (1 mile). When staying at our home, you will be surrounded by fields, forest, and minnesota wildlife. Pillsbury State Forest is kiddie-corner to the property. Meadowbrook state park, a hunter's paradise, is 1.5 miles north. Enjoy the quiet peaceful outdoors of May Township at the Homestead on Horn's Acres. The nearest towns are Motley (11 miles), Pillager (12 miles), or Leader (8 miles). Baxter (24 miles) is the largest town hosting the larger Big Box Store. Central Minnesota's Playground of the Gull Lake area is a short 20 minute drive northeast. Other nearby attractions include Crow Wing River, Gull Lake, Pillager Lake Playground and fishing pier, Brainerd International Raceway, the Pig Races at the Bears Den, world class golf at Craguns, Maddens, Grand View and other local resorts, Zorbas on Gull Lake, The shops in Nisswa, Mn, the options for entertainment are endless. Enjoy a day of playing on the lakes or shopping in our unique local towns. Then come back to the serine peacefulness of our farmhouse. The home is located on a dirt road. You will travel on two miles of graded gravel roads before reaching your destination. Please travel accordingly.
