Within walking distance of quaint downtown Hendersonville where a day can be filled with shopping, site-seeing and visiting many locally owned restaurants. Less than 15 miles to the Pisgah National Forest, Dupont State Forest, the Carl Sandburg Home, and many more places to kayak, bike, hike, and golf. Many award winning wineries, breweries, and cideries are known to Henderson County. Our location couldn't be better. The kitchen is well-equipped for any amount of cooking you may wish to do. The cupboards are stocked with basic cooking supplies, i.e. oil, spices, condiments, etc. There are brand new windows on the lower level and a new heating/ac system. Ceiling fans are installed in the living room, and lower bedrooms. A portable fan is provided in the upstairs area. The front porch is shaded and a good place to rock the afternoon away. The patio in the back is furnished with an umbrella, table, chairs, and a gas grill overlooking the beautifully landscape yard. The two bedrooms downstairs have their own television, as well as, the living room. There are no steps coming into the back of the house providing easy access. Guests have access to the entire house except for the owner's storage area in the attic. Upon making your reservation, I will message you. Then closer to your arrival, I will send you check-in information. I am happy to answer any questions that you may have before, during or after your stay. Older established neighborly area with sidewalks along a moderately busy tree-lined street. The walk to downtown is a safe, easy 15 minute walk by quaint houses and small businesses. Pets are leashed and allowed in outdoor areas. The developing Ecusta Trail is a safe five minute walk down side streets. Walking, biking, and driving are all available from this house. In 5 to 10 minutes, you can drive to downtown, Flat Rock, Blue Ridge Mall or surrounding Hendersonville with moderate traffic. There is free parking on the side streets, and many paid parking lots. Main Street is currently free parking, but will soon become metered parking.
