Location, location, location! Island View Cottages is situated on 4 acres of private lakefront property on South Bass Island, city of Put-In-Bay, Ohio. There are two cottages on the property, Lakefront and Yellow, and both have access to the break wall and ramp for fishing, swimming and simple relaxing. The Lakefront cottage welcomes you with a screened-in front porch, with views of the expansive backyard and Lake Erie. There are two bedrooms, a living room with dinette area, kitchen and two bathrooms. The Lakefront cottage sleeps six with a Queen in the master bedroom, two twins in the second bedroom and a queen sleeper sofa. The kitchen is stocked with basic utensil and professional linen service ensures every comfort of home. The real joy of Island View Cottages comes from outside! Your cottage has a charcoal grill, firepit, a picnic table and outdoor chairs to make your time at the lake enjoyable! You’re welcome to bring your own chairs, yard games and coolers to fully maximize your time with us. Put-In-Bay, sometimes referred to as the "Key West of the North" is an Ohio village on South Bass Island in Lake Erie. Perry's Victory and International Peace Memorial is a huge column commemorating the 1812 Battle of Lake Erie. Exhibits at the Lake Erie Islands Historical Museum explore area winemaking and ships. The lakeside South Bass Island State Park has a boat ramp and a stone beach. Perry’s Cave Family Fun Center includes a limestone cave and a butterfly house. While Put-In-Bay is only 2.5 miles wide by 5 miles long, you are welcome to bring your car, bikes and scooters to get around. Once on the island, there are many taxi services as well as locations to rent golf carts and bikes, by the hour or day.
